Geosesarma 'Orange Black Eye' (Vampire Crab)

These are excellent little critters for a the paludarium, even nano-sized enclosures!

Geosesarma sp. (aka vampire crabs) are a semi-terrestrial species endemic to Southeast Asia. They live in densely planted forests, near streams and rivers, and spend most of their time on land. These crabs are a communal species however it is recommended to keep the same species together to reduce aggression. 

Males tend to be more colorful and have larger claws. Females tend to be dull in color and have smaller claws. Male is shown in photo.
